Purpose/Duties

To study problems, consult with the Board of Supervisors, prepare information, advise and counsel residents as well as County, State, and Federal officials concerning matters related to discrimination against women and the violation of women's rights. It may also conduct hearings and recommend improvements in related programs.

11 - representatives are appointed by the Board of Supervisors, two from each Supervisorial District as well as one appointment from the County at large.

Reimbursements For Expenses/Per Diem

Limited reimbursement of expenses.
