Purpose/Duties
The Commission makes policies and decisions which affect public housing and the numerous other programs administered by Marin Housing. The purpose of the Commission is to provide low and moderate-income housing for families, the disabled, and the elderly.

Qualifications
Five of the Commission's members are the Board of Supervisors. The two public members, chosen by the Board of Supervisors, must be tenants of the Housing Authority. At least one must be over 62 years of age.
Term Length
4 year terms for members of the Board of Supervisors and 2 year terms for the two public members.

Seven members. Five Supervisors and two public members)
Reimbursements For Expenses/Per Diem
$50 per meeting, not to exceed $100 per month for the two public members.
Time and Day of Meetings
Meetings are generally held once a month on a Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors Chambers. For more specific information, please call 473-7331.
