Purpose/Duties
To advise the Board of Supervisors on all matters pertaining to fish and game propagation, habitat, and conservation and to recommend expenditures from the County's fish and wildlife propagation fund pursuant to California Fish and Game Code Section 13100.

Qualifications
All regular members must have been residents of Marin County for at least the previous six months. At least one member, but not more than two, of the Commissioners shall represent each of the following areas of expertise, specialized interest and experience: sport fishing, commercial fishing, hunting and conservation.

Reimbursements For Expenses/Per Diem
Beginning October 1, 2022, a stipend will be available for members of boards and commissions who self-certify to household income below the County self-sufficiency standard. For more information or to apply to the stipend program, see the Board Stipends Program Webpage.
Time and Day of Meetings
Meetings are the second Tuesdays of the months of January, February, March, April, May, August, September, and November, at 5:00 PM, unless otherwise noted. For additional information, please call 415-473-4204.
